![]() ![]() The Downtown Loop is a free shuttle that brings visitors to the exciting scene in Downtown Las Vegas, including the Arts District and Fremont Street Experience. Deuce on the Strip will stop at just about every resort on the Strip, while DVX runs partially through downtown and Fremont Street. While the bus runs throughout the destination, there are two routes you can specifically take for the Strip and downtown. ![]() The Deuce is Las Vegas’ public transportation operated by the Regional Transportation Commission. If you’re celebrating or just want to feel like a Vegas VIP, book a party limo or ask about luxury Strip tours. While limos are available at Harry Reid International Airport, your best bet would be to make a reservation. Limousines are a fun and fancy way to get you from the airport to your resort and around the city in style. It’s as simple as downloading the rideshare app of your choice, inputting some information, and waiting for your ride to show up. Ridesharing, commonly associated with Uber and Lyft, is a convenient option for visitors to get around the destination, no matter where you are in Las Vegas. There are several standalone rental sites across Las Vegas and a few on site at some hotels, but the airport is the most convenient. The center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with continuous shuttle service to and from airport terminals. The Harry Reid International Airport Rental Car Center houses 10 car rental companies in one location. Hotels have specific areas for taxi pick-up, usually near the valet or main entrance. Taxis are required to pick up passengers at a physical address, such as a hotel taxi line. Good quality, but mainly of interest from a traffic-monitoring point of view. With several companies to choose from, you never have to worry about there not being enough drivers at a late hour. Unlike other cities, you cannot hail a taxi on the street in Las Vegas. Cycle racks will be installed on Leith Walk at a later date as part of the project.īins will temporarily remain in their current locations until all side streets are open, upon which they will be moved to their permanent locations as seen in the Final Designs.Taxis are a reliable form of transportation used throughout Vegas for decades. Reinstatement and lining works on the cycleway and footpaths are ongoing which requires the establishment of small localised work sites. To accommodate these works, please note cycleways on Leith Walk are closed in both directions. For any information on bus services, please contact Lothian Buses. Bus service is expected to be reinstated on Leith Walk from Thursday 16 February 2023. The installation of new bus shelters in their permanent locations as per the Final Designs is ongoing and scheduled to be completed this spring. The permanent loading area located on the west side between Crown Place and Crown Street is now available for use. Parking and loading provision is available on Leith Walk. This will include the introduction of benches and planters, as well as the installation of the Victorian era cable wheels that were discovered near Pilrig Street in the course of tram excavations in 2021. Works have started to create an enhanced public realm on Iona Street. There will be further works at the junctions of Crown Place, Crown Street and the entrance to the NHS building at 165 Leith Walk over the coming month. Please note, the worksites that have been established at Stead's Place are not part of the trams project. The continuous footways at at Jameson Place and Smith’s Place are now complete and are open. It is illegal to pavement park where a single or double yellow line is in place and fixed penalty notices will be issued to drivers caught doing this. ***Please note: The City of Edinburgh Council has changed its enforcement for pavement parking. ![]() The project’s Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) came into effect on 13 March 2023 and is enforceable along the route. No stopping or waiting is allowed on the carriageway and tram tracks. We would ask that all road users adhere to the Highway Code and refrain from transiting over the newly installed central island. North and southbound traffic was reinstated for the full length of Leith Walk on 14 February 2023. ![]()
